Your Answer to Dry Skin – Citrus Sugar Scrub made with Barlean’s Coconut Oil

It’s definitely winter here and I’m feeling it. It seems the older I get, the dryer my skin gets. With temps in the negative numbers this past week I had to do something. I whipped up some sugar scrub made with Barlean’s Coconut Oil and found my answer to dry skin problems!

When I started making my own lotions, bath bombs, bath salts and sugar scrubs I found a new passion. I really enjoy making these things and even better is knowing exactly what is going on my skin and in my baths! This sugar scrub is made with only FOUR ingredients!

This post was done in partnership with Barleans. All opinions are 100% my own.

The Answer to Dry Skin Problems!

The only ingredients in my sugar scrub are Barlean’s Organic Virgin Coconut Oil, Organic Sugar, essential oil and a plant based food coloring, which is optional.

Simply put the sugar and coconut oil in a bowl, add in your essential oil and food coloring. I use a plant based food coloring so I don’t have extra dyes in my skin products. This does take away from the scent a bit so if the color doesn’t matter to you, you can absolutely leave out the food coloring.

Once everything is in the bowl, mix away! Mix until everything is combined well.

Lastly, spoon into a jar for safe keeping.
