These Tropical Frozen Yogurt Bars were created by me using ingredients I received as part of my partnership with Stonyfield. Barleans and Stonyfield provided me with products but all ideas and opinions are my own.
With the warmer weather arriving and my kids always wanting sweet treats, I’ve been pondering on how to get HEALTHY sweet treats into them. When I was sent some products from Barleans to try my brain starting creating a million things! I had never tried Barlean’s but was so excited to finally get the chance.
I decided to try a frozen yogurt bar since they’ve been wanting ice cream a lot lately. I wanted to mix in some sweet fruit with some of my newest findings from Barlean’s. I used some organic mango chunks, the Barlean’s Flax Chia Coconut organic blend and the Fish Oil Omega Swirl (the mango peach flavor) and mixed it in with my favorite Stonyfield Whole Milk French Vanilla yogurt.
We then poured the mixture into a dish lined with Parchment Paper (we buy the unbleached and chlorine free kind) and then placed it in the freezer for approximately 5 hours to get the bars nice and solid. It was a super easy recipe with incredible health benefits now the real test would be if the family liked it or not!
I mentioned we were sent a variety of Barlean’s products. I am loving this Flax Chia Coconut blend as it’s so easy to add to any food and it adds protein, fiber and Omego-3! I’ve added it just to plain yogurt, yogurt with fruit and even in morning cereal!
