Valentine’s Day is tomorrow so treat yourself to some pampering! This conversation heart vanilla sugar scrub is relaxing and festive! I love taking baths so when I discovered how to add holiday flare to my pampering products I thought it would be fun to share!
Who doesn’t love a bit of pampering? When it’s a scrub that’s easy to make it’s even more enjoyable! It truly is rather simple to make and can last a few months! That’s a lot of pampering from this Vanilla Sugar Scrub recipe without a lot of time put into it! Here are the ingredients you’ll need:
Vanilla Sugar Scrub Ingredients:
2 cups granulated sugar
1/2 cup coconut oil
1/4 cup almond oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup conversation hearts
3 drops Vitamin E oil (optional)
Vanilla Sugar Scrub Directions:
1. In a medium mixing bowl, add the sugar and both oils. Stir until well blended.
2. Add the vanilla extract and vitamin E oil (optional) and stir until well incorporated.
3. In a food processor, pulse the conversation hearts almost to a fine powder and add to the scrub. Stir well.
4. Transfer to an airtight container.
Note: This exfoliating body scrub will keep for 2-3 months in a sealed container at room temperature.
Easy peasy, right!? Don’t forget to pick up the conversation hearts before they are out of them (or bookmark this and get them when they go on clearance! You don’t need to use this ONLY for a Valentine’s Scrub, it can be fun any time of year!) Make up from vanilla scrub and let me know what you think!
