Three Classic Fairytales – Our Disney Live Review

Feld Entertainment provided me with tickets to the show in exchange for posting about the show. All opinions are 100% my own and are not influenced in any way.

We had a Disney day! I LOVE Disney shows and we missed Disney on Ice last week so I was super excited to get some Disney in and go to the show today! Today’s show was one I have never experienced: Disney Live! It was a great show featuring three classic fairytales: Snow White, Cinderella and Beauty and the Beast. Prepare for photo overload (you know I always LOVE sharing photos of these types of shows!) as you read my thoughts in my Disney Live review!

Disney Live Review

Mickey & Minnie at Disney Live The beginning of the show was a treat with a visit from Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy! They made appearances throughout Disney Live between each classic fairytale featured. They were their cheerful selves and brought about many smiles to the kids (and adults) in the audience.

The first classic fairytale featured was Snow White. We were given a shortened version of the story but in no way did we feel like we were shorted. It was a beautiful show and the kids’ eyes were glued to the stage!

The Evil Queen in Snow WhiteThe evil queen made her appearance early in the show.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs #DisneyLiveSnow White and the Seven Dwarfs quickly showed up to brighten the stage with their songs and dances! It was quite pleasant!

Snow White's Prince #DisneyLiveThe Prince also made an appearance and you could see the love on Snow White’s face! We saw Snow White fall asleep and watched the prince kiss her to wake her! He saved her and the audience cheered!

Snow White Characters #DisneyLiveIt was a spectacular part of Disney Live. The story of Snow White and her prince….a classic indeed!

Next up was the enchanting story of Cinderella. Again, we were given a condensed version of the story but if featured enough to know what was going on.

Cinderella and step sisters #DisneyLiveCinderella’s step-sisters pulled and tore her gown so she wouldn’t be able to attend the ball that all ladies were called to.

Cinderella's Fairy GodmotherCinderella’s fairy godmother saved the day and gave Cinderella a dream come true! The audience joined in on the help with lots of “Bippity Boppity Boos” and Cinderella’s dress was transformed into what would be the most beautiful gown at the ball!

Cinderella and the princeCinderella went to the ball and danced the night away with the prince.

Cinderella at the ball #DisneyLiveIt was yet another classic story with that was beautifully portrayed!

Mickey and Minnie Once again, we were greeted by these amazing characters between shows! Cinderella was over but now…it would be time for Beauty and the Beast!

Belle in Beauty and the Beast #DisneyLiveBelle, one of the classic Disney characters lit up the stage with her presence but she was sad because she couldn’t find her father.

Beauty and the Beast When she finally found her father he was locked up. The beast appeared and frightened her but she wished for him to take her and let her father go.

Belle and the Beast Little did they know that they would actually become very special to each other!

Belle and the Beast #DisneyLiveThey shared moments together and fell in love! Belle met her prince and lived happily ever after!

My Final Thoughts on Disney Live

The show was approximately an hour and a half (including intermission). Each of the three classic stories were condensed but not too much. We did go to the 1pm showing, which was at Annie’s nap time. She did okay through most of the show but did get fussy at times. Our three and five year old were glued to the stage at many points but there were a few points that their attention was distracted. Overall, I think they seem to enjoy Disney on Ice better, however, this was a great alternative and we did love seeing the classics acted out on stage. The singing and dancing was contagious and we did have a ball!

Which classic fairytale in this Disney Live review would have been your favorite to see on stage? #DisneyLive #ThreeClassicFairytales
