Feld Entertainment provided me with tickets to the show in exchange for posting about the show. All opinions are 100% my own and are not influenced in any way.
Marvel Universe Live was definitely not a let down. I had posted about it weeks ago and my husband and kids were so excited to go see the show, I have to admit…I was, too! After seeing the show I want to share with you my thoughts as a mama who took her little ones and my husband’s point of view as a huge Marvel fan!
First, as a mama, let me share my personal opinion with you. We took our 3 year old daughter and 5 year old son to Marvel Universe Live. Had I known exactly what would be happening in the show prior to going I might have been a bit hesitant in taking my three year old. There are many loud “pops” and thunder sounds, loud motorcyclists along with fumes from the bikes and lots of action and fighting. Having said that let me also say that I’m glad I took her because she loved it and sat through it without one complaint. I’m also glad that my mother-in-law watched Annie for the evening because I think the sound would have been too much for her at 19 months old. My five year old is a huge Marvel fan (just like daddy) and he also sat through it without one complaint. I caught him and my husband sharing those father/son bonding moments when they thought something was cool and it was great seeing them enjoy it together. I’m glad we were able to take them, but I’m especially thankful that the two of them were able to see it since they are the true fans in our family. For Marvel fans, Marvel Universe Live is a must see!
I asked my husband, the true Marvel fan in our family, to write his personal thoughts for me to publish. You’re in for a treat, it’s not often he writes for the blog! 😉 Since his is the cool review and not the boring mom review I’ll share pictures between his thoughts and after. Beware: photo overload ahead! 😉 Take a look at the review from a Marvel fan’s point of view:
Marvel Universe Live was a fun-filled action packed show full of heroes and rogues. I was a bit disappointed that I didn’t see the Wasp or Ant Man but then again it would have been difficult to portray them in the setting. The pyrotechnics were awesome and made the show even more exciting!
The motorcycles added exciting thrills that caught my attention as well as my son’s. It was exciting to see what villain would appear next. The cyclists were both male and female Marvel characters, which was great to see!
Overall, as a fan, I thought this live action show was amazing! The action, the lighting, the sound….every piece that was put into this show was for pure excitement and as my wife said, it doesn’t disappoint!
