Three little children 4 and under makes for a very busy household. We love being parents and although sometimes it does get frustrating we have to look back on moments and laugh. Sometimes there’s nothing more you can do about a situation BUT laugh. This spring, as I’m doing some easy spring cleaning around the house, I’m remembering messy moments of times past.
Who can forget the first birthdays? It’s a time when hands and faces get messy! Very, very messy. This photo is of Annie’s first birthday just a few months ago. I still have a hard time believing our BABY is no longer a baby. 🙁 First birthdays can get pretty messy with the “smash” cake but as a mama, I love these messy moments.
Addy has loved yogurt since the first time she tried it. She’s also been Miss Independent when it comes to eating since she could pick up foods by herself and hold a spoon. This messy moment is brought to you by: yogurt! Addy and her love of yogurt made for some pretty messy moments when she was younger. In fact, it still does some times.
A different kind of mess altogether but a fun memory – and another from Addy! Shortly after Annie was born Addy was being very quiet when I was nursing her sister. I went to check on her because we all know when a toddler is being quiet something is going on. This is what I found in the bathroom.
I wanted to scream. I was stressed out with two toddlers and a newborn and my husband at work. Today, as I look back on this moment I cherish the thoughts of her as a toddler being “creative” and I just have to look at this photo and laugh! 😉
It’s kind of funny to me how my girls seem to make bigger messes than my boys have. Taking a trip down memory lane is always fun. When it comes to cleaning up messes like these on their hands and faces I’m thankful for things like PURELL® Hand Sanitizing Wipes. The wipes are safe to use on hands and faces and are life-saving during messy moments!
With the kids being in daycare and my husband being a teacher, I’ve talked before about how we are always trying hard to keep germs at bay. Spring is great for getting the energy to do lots of cleaning that’s been put off all winter. The warmer weather and longer days are energizing. Spring is a great time for new blooms, new opportunities and taking time to smell the flowers.
