We were at the grocery store this past Sunday morning getting things for a family cookout and I saw some recipe cards that caught my eye. I love trying new recipes, especially desserts! This recipe was perfect for the Fourth of July, it was cute and festive and looked so delicious! Firecracker bites were not only delicious but they were easy to make!
The recipe card I found at the store is a Kraft Foods recipe and it only includes 7 ingredients: cool whip, vanilla wafers, vanilla pudding, liquorice, cream cheese, milk and sprinkles (any variation will do). You can find the full recipe here. This really is an amazing dessert for hot summer days and with the Fourth of July holiday this week make sure you pick up the ingredients for this fun dessert! We had all three kids with us at the store and it wasn’t too much to go around and get, it really is a simple Fourth of July dessert that you’ll love!
Look at those little Firecrackers! Aren’t they adorable?! They do have a different taste than a regular dessert, they aren’t super sweet, just the perfect amount of sweet! Not only that but they are small in size, perfect for after a big meal!
