I’m normally a cold person. Not cold hearted (haha) but I’m usually cold in the winter time. I ALWAYS worry that my babies are cold, too. One of our absolute must haves for all of our babies has been the Halo SleepSack wearable blankets. Halo not only keeps our winter babies warm and cozy, but can also trust that they are safe and won’t get blankets over their heads while sleeping. Halo SleepSacks wearable blankets have given us peace of mind numerous nights (and naps).
With baby A being due in mid February I knew we needed to prepare and have some SleepSacks ready for her. I pulled out the ones we used for Addy but we definitely needed a few more. As Courtney and I were putting together the Winter Wonderland of Babies Event, it was only natural for us to want Halo to be a part of this event as we both love and believe in this company.
The Halo Cotton Sweater Knit SleepSack Wearable Blanket
Halo SleepSack generously sent Courtney and I their Wearable Blankets in the Cotton Sweater Knit design for review. I chose the pink Sweater Knit SleepSack for baby girl and when it arrived I was over the moon with excitement! It’s absolutely precious!! I love the sweater material and how warm it feels, not to mention the perfect shade of pink!
The super-cute bird and “Back is Best” embroidery reminds caregivers to put babies to sleep on their backs. The SleepSack is also sleeveless, which reduces the risk of overheating. The “sack” blanket can’t be kicked off during naps or night time and the design of the sack is approved as “hip healthy” by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute. Swaddling babies the wrong way can lead to serious hip problems and using Halo prevents us from having to worry about that!
Halo’s Mission: Help Babies Sleep Safely
For over 15 years Halo has been educating parents about safe sleep practices. The American Academy of Pediatrics has suggested their use since 2005. Today, the Halo SleepSack blankets are the #1 trusted choice of hospital nurseries are are used nationwide to help babies sleep safely from the start. In fact, over 1000 hospitals are using Halo! Isn ‘t that fabulous!? Be sure you have some on hand when your baby arrives or if baby is already here, stock up! 🙂
