I know I say this every week but I cannot believe I am how fast this is going and that we are just about half way there!! This past week FLEW by. We even went for an ultrasound Saturday, so seeing baby was a special treat this week!
Baby’s Size This Week: (from BabyCenter.com) Your baby’s skeleton is changing from soft cartilage to bone, and the umbilical cord — her lifeline to the placenta — is growing stronger and thicker. Your baby weighs 5 ounces now (about as much as a turnip), and she’s around 5 inches long from head to bottom. She can move her joints, and her sweat glands are starting to develop.
How am I feeling? I’m still on my cleaning mission, although I do not accomplish much. I’ve been cooking more and I have lists of things I want to get done around the house. I asked hubby to help me with at least one big task each weekend until we get them done. The things on my list are things like cleaning out the pantry, cleaning out the closet, etc.
Food Cravings/Aversions: The Chinese food craving is still going on. I don’t NEED it daily, but I’ve been wanting it often. My go to place has been Pei Wei, which isn’t the best thing since hubby doesn’t like it! haha! Poor guy.
Sleep: No change in sleep since the past week…still turning often, getting up to use the restroom 1-2 times nightly. Sleeping well in between those times!
Baby’s Movement: No definite “that’s baby!!” movement. Still waiting…
Weight: According to my scale at home I’ve not gained any weight, which is good since I started out overweight!
Next Appointment: Chiropractor this week, OB next week.
What happened this week? We went Saturday for a 4D ultrasound at Baby on Board here in Michigan! I’ll be posting all about our experience soon!
Something that upset me: I didn’t really get upset about anything this week. Hubby is awesome so he rarely makes me mad and I already complained about work in last week’s update so….let me see…I watched the entire last season of Private Practice this past week since I missed all of it and it made me cry often. Does that count?
Something I am looking forward to: Still looking forward to the next ultrasound in about three weeks. Also looking forward to a long weekend I have scheduled in a few weeks!
Boy or Girl? I found out Saturday!!! I know something you don’t know!! haha! I’ll be revealing baby’s gender later this week in my review of the Baby on Board 4D Ultrasound place we went to!
Countdown: 23 weeks to go if we go until 40 weeks!
Overall, not much change this week. Looking forward to meeting baby, but trying to enjoy being pregnant, too!
