Bottle Choices from Dr. Browns Have Us Covered

There are so many bottles choices on the market today it can be overwhelming making a choice of which brand to go with. Dr. Browns has been a brand I’ve heard a lot about the past several years. I know a lot of mamas who have chosen to go with Dr. Browns and have been very satisfied. As a nursing mama who works outside of the home we do have a need for bottles in this house. I was thrilled when Dr. Browns sent a variety of their bottles for review to try with baby A when she arrives.

Dr. Browns sent us some of their 4 and 8 ounce glass bottles with sleeves along with some of their wide-neck bottles and their standard bottles. All Dr. Brown’s bottles have a patented internal vent system that helps in the reduction of colic, spit-up, burping and gas. Their bottles also help preserve vitamins C, A & E and Lipids! How awesome is that!?

Wide-Neck and Standard Bottles
We received a two pack of the wide neck bottles and a three pack of the standard bottles for review. Both sets came with a cleaning brush and level one silicone nipples. They are BPA free and have a vacuum-free feeding like breastfeeding.

Dr Browns Wide Neck and Standard NipplesWhen I first heard of Dr Brown’s and saw the bottles I was concerned with how many parts they have. When I received these for review one of the first things I did was take them apart to see just how complicated they are. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they aren’t difficult at all! Yes, there are more parts than a “traditional” bottle, but if it helps in reducing colic, spit-up, burping and gas, I’ll happily take those few extra moments to make sure my baby is comfortable!

Bottle Parts
We also received the 4 and 8 ounce glass bottles for review. My choice in bottles for my baby will be glass bottles. It’s what I used for both LA and Addy and I will do so again with baby A. The glass bottles have all of the same great features of the above bottles. Did I mention these bottles are made in the USA? Thumbs up, Dr. Brown’s!

Glass Bottles from Dr BrownsDr. Brown’s glass bottles are available in both 4 and 8 ounce sizes and they even have protective sleeves available! We received the pink ones since we are having a baby girl, but they are also available in blue! The parts of the glass bottles are the same as shown above, too – not too much work to be worth their effect on baby! 😉

Purchase: You can purchase your own Dr. Brown’s bottles and sleeves from a local Dr Brown’s retailer or you can also purchase them online.
