Although we don’t have school parties just yet here with the little ones, I wanted to make something special for them. It’s for our own party!
I realize they are tiny, but I love being crafty! I made little favor jars with some of their favorite HEALTHY treats inside since my goal is to cut out any sweets this Valentine’s and gift just healthy snacks!
The supplies were simple and things we had around the house: Earth’s Best baby food jars, glitter glue, ribbon (I used some left over bows from Christmas and just took them apart), construction paper and some double sided tape. I use double sided tape because it’s less messy than glue and works better in terms of looks with construction paper. You’ll also want to have on hand your favorite healthy snacks to put inside! We used some of our Earth’s Best snacks since they are so loved in this house!
I removed the Earth’s Best labels from the jars and filled them with Earth’s Best Happy Snax and Yogurt Puffs first. After securing the lids, I cut construction paper to go around them and used double sided tape around the jars to secure the construction paper cover.
I doubled some of the construction paper and cut “half” hearts and when unfolded they make the perfect shaped hearts! Easy peasy!
I taped some of the hearts together and attached them to the jars. I also used the bow to create a decorative ribbon around the jars for an added touch! I cut out circles and wrote Valentine’s messages on top and accented the jars with a bit of glitter!
Easy and Fun Party Favors
There you have it, less than an hour and we have some adorable favor jars for the kids! They have healthy treats, they’ve reused some items from around the house (Christmas bows and baby food jars!) and they cost very little to make! It’s a win-win for everyone! These are perfect for the classroom party you never know what to take to, day care parties and just private family parties!

Cute idea! Thanks for sharing!
