Many mamas stay inside with the kids on Valentine’s Day since it’s cold outside in many places! I know I’ll be keeping our little ones at home most of the day. It’s always fun on a holiday to do special projects and to just enjoy your day with your children! Instead of store bought goods, spend some time with your children and make gifts and snacks for them while also being environmentally conscious. Earth’s Best jars are perfect for craft projects. Here are a few simple ideas:
- Decorate any size Earth’s Best jar with ribbon or construction paper (have your child choose their favorite colors!) Then fill the jars with soil, add the flower bulb of your choice and voila — Earth’s Best jars become cute creative planters.
- Decorate Earth’s Best jars with construction paper and make snack jar favors for your at home party!
- Wash jars of any size and paint each individual’s name on them (or you could print labels, etc.). Fill each jar with Earth’s Best Yogurt Puffs or Pop Snax. These will become perfect personalized gifts to give to give to family kids or friends!
- Use empty jars to make fun snow globes – just add water, glue some fun figurines to the lid and add some glitter.
These are all great and easy projects for days at home with the kids! It doesn’t have to be Valentine’s Day, you can do these any day! You can also check out my previous posts on crafty DIY projects with baby food jars!
