Are you a mama that uses fitted diapers? I can’t say I am. I’ve not really made it a point to try them as I like to keep it as simple as possible. I liked the story “How Your Great-Grandmother’s Hobby Is Transforming One Alabama Town.” In a time when etsy and DIY is so popular, I would think someone with a design and sewing related profession would not really encourage others to do the same, but to buy from her instead. However, Chanin really surprised me that she wants others to have such a DIY attitude….. that really told me she has a passion for what she does and has others’ best interest(s) at heart! Someone with those qualities will definitely continue to be successful in being a changemaker in her community!!

I am a big fan of the artical bok choy and baby kale may save Detroit! I love the local food movement and this is really great to see! I have heard of what Will Allen was doing in Millwaukee and this seems to have caught on in Detroit too.
