I am really enjoying this weekly feature! It is inspiring me to eat at home more often and I have even been WANTING to eat at home! Whoa! I never thought I’d say that!! LOL
Here were the plans for last week and how I did:
Monday – Sweet Chili Chicken and Rice SUCCESS
Tuesday – Chili SUCCESS
Wednesday – Chicken w/bot tie pasta Nope, we had left over Chili at home!
Thursday – Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup Nope, we had the Chicken w/bow tie pasta that was planned for Wednesday – at home!
Friday – Lasagna #FAIL! We ate out. Addy was sick and far too fussy for me to be in the kitchen cooking.
Saturday – Something crock pot…maybe beef and noodles
Nope, we had Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup at home!
Sunday – Pizza (either homemade or frozen, not sure yet!) SUCCESS – we had frozen pizza!
That was a huge success to me! We only ate out ONE day!! So much better than 7 weeks ago! Now for this week here’s what I have planned:
Monday: Sirloin Roast with Mashed Potatoes and Corn
Tuesday: Left Overs! Yum!
Wednesday: Kielbasa with Mashed Potatoes and Sauerkraut
Thursday: Possibly left overs from Wed…if not Lasagna
Friday: Meatloaf with Baked Redskin Potatoes and Peppers
Saturday: Left Overs
Sunday: Frozen Pizza (are you seeing a trend Sunday evenings? lol)
There you have it! A full week of eating in – that’s the plan!

Congrats on getting in 6 days of eating at home. I finally planned for the week and bought all the groceries. I am hoping I make it to at least 5 days.
