Leapfrog has always had some amazing learning tools, in my opinion so I jumped at the chance to host a Leapfrog party! I knew LA would be so excited because he loves push button toys that make music or any kind of sound.
When we received our package of items, there was no way I could keep this away from LA until the party! We were sent two of their Touch Magic Rockin’ Guitars and one Touch Magic Learning Bus for the party.
He is always right there when I am opening packages and he loves it, this time was an even bigger treat with LeapFrog products! I looked through the kit as LA was playing with one of the guitars and I was quite impressed with everything they provided for the party! There were invitations, an award for each child, printed out color sheets, games, activity suggestions for me as the host and even coupons for the parents! I couldn’t wait to get this party started!
I put the invitations together, we ended up inviting about eight children. We scheduled the party for the end of August, however, because of some unexpected circumstances we had to reschedule for September 7, which ended up being Labor Day weekend. We still had high hopes of having a great party though and hoped everyone would be able to make it!
Party Time!
The day arrived and we prepared snacks! We had toddler sized sandwiches, popcorn and A to Z cupcakes (decorated with mini M&Ms in the form of letters). We told LA that some of his friends would be coming over and we got the toys out. He was getting so excited, it was adorable!
My friend and her daughter, Noelle, were the first to arrive. Noelle and LA had so much fun playing together! LA was attached to his Elmo costume and wouldn’t take it off so we were lucky enough to have Elmo at our party for even more excitement! They were both checking out the Rockin’ Guitars to see what kind of fun could be had! I love that LeapFrog products are geared towards imagination and encourage little ones to rock it out!
Not long after, our dear friends and their son Rylan showed up! Mr Rylan was ready to rock with his “Rock Star” shirt on! He enjoyed the Rockin Guitar more than anyone! You see after playin, he even posed with the guitar for a picture!
We even played a few games, including one called “The Crowd Goes Wild”. This game gave each child a turn playing the Rockin’ Guitar for one minute and they were to finish off by striking a signature pose and the crowd went wild! The poses were a bit hard to explain to the kids, but everything else about this game, they loved! I think the crowd going wild was their favorite part! They love attention!
All Aboard!! The Learning Bus, that is!
Next, we got out the Learning Bus. The kids were all interested in seeing what this would do and we gave them each their own chance to play and discover what it would do. Even baby Addy LOVES this toy! It is the cutest thing and I love that it helps in teaching them the alphabet!
And of course, at the end of our party everyone got an award! They were excited about these awards! The moms also got to take home $5 coupons to buy their own LeapFrog Guitar or Bus!
Everyone had a fabulous time! The men talked, the women chatted, and we all watched the kids have a great time with LeapFrog!
