So last week I didn’t do too well. We didn’t keep up with the planned menu nearly as much as I would have liked. This week isn’t looking so good right now either because with two sick kiddos, it’s awfully hard to cook. Let’s take a look at last week so I can admit my failure!
Monday we did good. I got up early and prepared everything for the crock pot and we ate our crock pot roast that night. Tuesday, it went downhill already. Hubby bowls on Tuesday and on his way home from work he stopped and picked up some food for dinner. Wednesday we had frozen pizza. Thursday we ate out. Friday I made taco salad, Saturday we ate out because we were out running errands and LA threw up. We had two sick kids on our hands and no time to cook so we just grabbed something on the way home. Sunday night, kiddos were still sick so we just ate a few snacks around the house. Totally didn’t cook, but we didn’t eat out either.
Ok, so here’s to a better week. Although, I am scared to try for this since the kids are still sick and I don’t know that we can get much cooking done in advance. Here’s the plan:
Monday – Pizza
Tuesday: Chicken Alfredo with Broccoli and Mushrooms
Wednesday: Chicken Pot Pie
Thursday: Left Overs from Tuesday and Wednesday
Friday: Beef and Noodles with a side of Corn
Saturday: Eating Out
Sunday: General Tso’s Chicken and Rice with Egg Rolls (cooked at home – not take out!)
Ok, there you have it: my plans for this week. Wish me luck and I am hoping I can report back next Monday with much better results!
