Working outside of the home means I have to think about lunch ahead of time. It’s very tempting to eat out and I’ve been recognizing just how much I’ve done that lately. My goal is to eat at work every day in the month of September. Ok, I’ll eat out once every two weeks. That’s still much better than what I’ve been doing. I need to eat healthier and pack my lunches, with Rubbermaid’s LunchBlox Sandwich Kit this should be a breeze!
This set comes with a sandwich container, a small snack container (perfect for pasta salad or something similar) and two smaller snack containers perfect for yogurt, nuts or carrots! It also has a freezer pack in the middle. Our little guy loves carrying around smaller containers with his snacks in them and these little containers have been his companions and will be until I start using them for my lunch! He loves them and they are great for his dried fruit snacks or his cereal! They are also perfect for packing snacks in the diaper bag for an afternoon out! Although I do not pack lunch for any little ones going to school, I can see these would be perfect for the upcoming school year!
The Rubbermaid LunchBlox is going to make packing my lunch easier! It has four snap together containers that all fit nicely together with an ice pack between to keep foods cool until lunchtime! Each container snaps easily into the Blue Ice pack for an organized lunch taking up minimal space. You can see in the picture above the grooves that snap together. The containers are BPA-free! They are microwave, dishwasher and freezer safe (I personally do not microwave plastic containers but they are microwave safe if you need to do that) and have secure lid seals! I love the unique design that incorporates the ice pack right in the middle of all of your foods! Genius!
With watching what I am eating and the fact that I’ll soon be packing my own lunch, I love that these containers have the measurements right on the side to tell me if it’s 1/4 cup, 3/4 cup, more or less depending on the container. It makes it even easier to eat healthier portions! The final reason I love these? The containers are eco-friendly because you can eliminate plastic bags from your lunchbox! So many great features and uses, such a great price! the only thing I would change? I wish it were available in glass instead of plastic. Thumbs up, Rubbermaid, for a great, practical design!
