We still use disposable wipes most of the time. Gasp. Did I just admit that? It’s the truth, we do. When I was recently introduced to the Rinse Hopper I was intrigued to find out just how much it could help us! We have two in diapers so we order wipes by the case or pick them up at Costco so we don’t spend as much as some people do, but any amount on disposable wipes is too much for me. And besides, we need a more earth-friendly way of cleaning baby!
The Rinse Hopper was designed to be fast, safe and to save money! Three things all parents need. It’s much faster than giving baby a bath because all you have to do is sit baby in and hose him/her down and then quickly dry off baby and get dressed! It is also safe because it doesn’t hold water. There are small holes in the bottom where the water drains as you are rinsing baby. Finally, it helps you to save money! You no longer need baby wipes because you can just hose the baby down to get clean without having to use wipe after wipe like with some blow-outs!
You can see from the above picture it is rather easy to use! You simply put this over your sink or into your bathtub and put baby in. There is an ergonomic design that cradles baby and the water channels allow the water and mess to go under baby to the draining holes. There is a spot for baby’s feet too in order to make sure baby is comfy! It is very lightweight and easy to transport around the house if you need to move it from room to room. Our bathroom is rather small so we’ve stored it in a closet outside of the bathroom and it’s been easy to take back and forth.
She fits great inside!
You can see the drain holes beneath her – they work great!
We used the Rinse Hopper on the days we cloth diapered and it worked out well. It was an adjustment to take a diaper off, take baby to the bathroom and rinse, dry and then back to dress but I loved not using wipes. We’ve used it with both our two year old and our six month old and it’s much easier to use with the smaller baby but that could be because LA doesn’t like sitting still long enough to get rinsed off!
