Our two-year old son, LA, has asthma and was diagnosed about a year ago. When he gets sick, he really gets sick. A small cold is never small. Keeping germs away is something we definitely have to do because of this and having the help of things like Balboa’s Shopping Cart Cover makes it a bit easier and less worrisome.
Keeping our baby girl well is also a huge concern because first, we don’t yet know if she also has asthma, second because anything she gets, she’ll most likely pass to her big brother. We decided we would get Balboa Baby’s shopping cart cover in a more girly print since LA is walking most of the time now and we could use it for baby girl.

I love red so I chose the Red Poppy print and it doesn’t disappoint! It’s vibrant and gorgeous! There are so many features that I love about this shopping cart cover! We have used two other brands and this is BY FAR the best we’ve used! Unlike the others we have used, this cart cover has a safety strap that keeps baby secure! I love that the strap is long and has the velcro on MOST of the strap allowing for easy use with the skinny babies too!
There are also four elastic corners which make it so easy to put on the cart when you have baby in one arm.
There are also toy loops that keep baby occupied with her favorite toys easily attached. I love that the loops are deep inside keeping toys next to baby. They are great to occupy baby not only in the grocery store, but also in restaurants as you wait for your food!

The cover folds into itself for easy storage in the diaper bag. That’s great, isn’t it? There is no extra bag to search for, it simply folds into itself!!
Another great feature that really had our attention? This fits most restaurant high chairs as well! Having two little ones so small means we already have a gazillion things that we have in our home and that we have to tote around with us when we go out. Finding products that are versatile like this is incredibly nice! That means one less thing to carry with us!
As I mentioned, this is by far the best shopping cart cover (and even restaurant high chair cover) we have owned. It works great, it’s versatile, adorable and we love the quilted material! I honestly cannot think of one thing I would change on this product! Thumbs up, Balboa!
