Changing to eco-friendly products in our home was one of my goals when starting this blog. I’ve been fortunate to work with some great companies and to learn about some great products along my journey. One of the newest companies I’ve have the pleasure of learning about is Eco-Ditty. Eco-Ditty makes reusable snack and sandwich bags, but there is one other little fact that separates them from the other companies that make this type of product: they use 100% organic cotton inside and out for their bags!
That one little fact was something I was thrilled about because that means there is no plastic lining the inside of the bag! It means there is no worry about dangerous toxins from PVC when using these bags! Eco-Ditty bags came about because the daughter of the creator is allergic to PVC plastic and they needed a safe way to transport food. The bags are also free of BPA. Eco-Ditty uses only GOTS-certified, fair trade fabrics in their products and they are manufactured right here in the USA! How’s that for an eco-friendly lunch accessory? I am lovin’ these bags knowing we can feel good about letting our little ones eat snacks from them!
I received the Let it Grow Brown Snack Ditty for review. I used this many times to carry snacks in the diaper bag and my husband even used it to carry snacks to work. It has held up nicely and washes easily! I love the look, the fact that it’s organic cotton (with NO plastic!!), the design and the ease of use with simply a velcro closure. I look forward to getting more of these snack bags and some sandwich bags for upcoming picnics and even more use for regular family outings!
