I know I was supposed to post weekly for this but I am having a hard time keeping up with that! I am going to work on that! How are you doing in the challenge? Week four is ending…wow, a month into it!
The past few weeks have been rough as we’ve been really busy here at home. The holiday was last week and that always brings about temptation in the food arena and lack of time in the exercise arena. The two of those don’t make for much success. I have to say at this point I am disappointed in my progress. I had hoped to be running by now and I haven’t done so yet. I am still walking, just not running. Last week the walking slowed way down because of the holiday. My mom was in town and we spent time with her and that didn’t include my regular schedule. I ended up gaining 1.3 pounds last week. That was the first week of gaining since this challenge started. I not only slacked on exercise, but I let into my cravings for some caramel frappes! I had dessert for our 4th of July celebration and a few other times I wasn’t watching what I was eating.
This week was all about getting back on schedule. I was able to get walking in three times this week. I am going to struggle to get that fourth time in because we have a very busy weekend ahead of us. I have started away from those tempting caramel frappes and have gotten back to some healthier food options. I still gained 1/2 pound. I guess when you fall off of the wagon, you really have to work harder to get back on. I am on my way though and I know I’ll get there. These past weeks have been such a let down to me though.
