Milkmakers Review and GIVEAWAY!

I was incredibly worried about going back to work and continuing with breast feeding baby Addy. It can be difficult to pump and bring home milk every day and add to that extra work the stress about whether or not I pump enough and it could create some trouble in the breast feeding world.

In order to prepare myself for my return to work I pumped and established my freezer supply before I went back to work. I also looked into things to assist me like lactation cookies. I contacted Milkmakers and asked them about doing a review so I could really get a feel for whether or not something like this would help me. Milkmakers cookies were created by a mom after she went back to work; she too was worried about providing enough milk for her baby!

Milkmakers lactation cookies are available in both oatmeal chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin. Their oatmeal raisin cookies are dairy free! I received a package of oatmeal chocolate chip (my favorite flavor or cookie!) that included ten cookies. What makes them increase milk supply? They have natural key ingredients like oats, Brewer’s yeast and flax seed that help boost your milk supply. I ate one cookie per day as recommended and I was pleased with the taste! I would have preferred them to be a bit more soft and chewy but they were far from hard, I just like my cookies overly soft! 🙂 I did see an increase in my milk supply to the point that I was getting a bit over what I needed for baby Addy each day! I had a bit extra and my stress was gone! I would recommend lactation cookies to any mama who is having trouble or needs a bit of a boost when pumping and/or nursing. They are tasty and they help with milk supply, it can’t get any better! 🙂 Now we mamas have a great reason to eat cookies daily! 🙂

Milkmakers lactation cookies are available in a sample pack like I received (which is one package of 10) or you can get a monthly supply of 30 cookies. They also have a subscription available with free shipping! The cookies can be frozen to keep them fresh and you just take them out as needed. If your husband is anything like mine, when he hears they are lactation cookies he won’t want anything to do with them – woohoo!!! No sharing! Oops, was that mean? HAHA!

Purchase: You can visit the Milkmakers website to purchase your own lactation cookies!

Win: One lucky lactating mama is going to win a month’s supply of Milkmakers cookies in either Oatmeal Chocolate Chip or Oatmeal Raisin! Yum! Fill out the Rafflecopter form below for your chance to win!

I’d want the chocolate chip. I’ve been thinking about making my own, but who has time with a baby!

  2. Elisabeth says:

Oatmeal raisin, for sure – since they are dairy free! As momma to a food allergy kiddo, we have to be extra cautious with this baby, so my diet is relatively restricted. I need all the “milk-making” help I can get!
