Diaper Laundry Made Easier with Wooly Rounds! (and a GIVEAWAY!)

I started cloth diapering our little boy when he was about 4 weeks old. I started with Baby Addy when she was just about one week old. Diaper laundry has gotten a lot easier for me since the very beginning as the longer I cloth diaper, the more I learn! Products like Wooly Rounds have helped with my laundering experience. Let me tell you how!

We do not have a clothes line outside to hang diapers (I have lost that battle with hubs so far) and it was taking me at least three dry cycles AND hanging some to finish drying to get our diaper laundry done. Someone mentioned I should try wool dryer balls so I started looking into them. I learned that dryer balls aren’t only good for cloth diapering laundry, but good as an all around replacement for dryer sheets. You see, dryer sheets have harmful chemicals in them and they can have a negative impact on your clothes AND on your dryer.

Wooly Rounds are your eco-friendly solution! Wool dryer balls are felted balls of wool and have been amazing in helping to reduce our dry time! How? They help circulate and separate the clothing while tumble drying. Using just 6-8 balls can reduce your drying time by 10-25%! Now that’s a great and simple way to be eco-friendly, isn’t it? Wool dryer balls also naturally soften fabrics and work great for baby clothes too! We actually use them in ALL of our laundry and love them!

I received four Wooly Rounds dryer balls for review. The balls come in a cute small bag that is great for storing when they aren’t in use. These balls are amazing! They are of great quality as I have been using them for a few months and they haven’t started to unravel or look horribly used at all! They still look pretty new actually and we do about 7 loads of laundry per week using these in our dryer. I was surprised actually at how new these balls still look as I have some other brand of dryer balls that look VERY ragged after a short period of time. I have purchased additional Wooly Rounds dryer balls and I do suggest using about 8-10 dryer balls. The more we use, the better luck we seem to have with faster drying times. I have seen a reduction in our drying times as well! It’s not taking 50% of the time off but hey every little bit helps, doesn’t it? I am thrilled with our dryer balls and will be a lifetime customer of Wooly Rounds!

The dryer balls at Wooly Rounds are available individually and in 3 or 5 packs. They are also available in colors to brighten your laundry days! 🙂 Wooly Rounds dryer balls are handmade in Maine using 100% domestic wool.
