I was so excited last year when I found out I would be on the Incredimom review team! Late last year I reviewed the Incredibum wet bag and now it’s time for my review of their cloth diaper! You know with me being a cloth diaper addict I was really excited about this chance! Not only that, but now I have a newborn AND a 20-month old to use in this review! I love testing one-size diapers on multiple babies!

We received the Incredibum bamboo cloth diaper in Sunshine to review. The inserts are 67% bamboo (which I love!!), 23% cotton and 10% polyester. It does come with two inserts that can snap together to use both for extra absorbency. The shell is made up of TPU waterproof coating and Microfiber fleece lining. It is a one size diaper and will fit a wide range of babies.

This diaper is unlike any other we have. It looks like a pocket diaper, but it’s more like an all-in-two diaper because the inserts snap in rather than being inserted into a pocket opening. There are snaps at the front and back of the diaper for attaching the inserts, which are incredibly soft by the way!

This is the Incredibum on the smallest setting next to one of Baby Addy’s Swaddlebees Mini Nappi diapers. We’ve just changed the mini nappis to the larger rise so it is very similar in size when compared to the Incredibum. The diaper did not fit well when she was first born, however, now that she is 5 weeks old it is fitting much better.

You can see it does fit her but it is a tad bit bulky (as is any one-size diaper on a newborn). I love that you can cross over the snaps and you can actually do it from either side! We used this diaper on Addy for an average of 2-3 hours and we had no leaks. You can see that it also fits around her waist very well. In this picture Addy was about 9 lbs 9 oz. We only used the smaller insert when we had it on her. I do not *prefer* this diaper for a newborn, however, it does work and works well. I do not prefer it only because of all of the snaps (she gets pretty impatient) and I prefer sized diapers for newborns. There are eight total snaps I did when putting this diaper on her compared to her other small/newborn diapers which have an average of four snaps. As for the fit, I just prefer diapers the sized diapers on newborns and this is just a personal preference.

This is the side view of the diaper. You can see it fits great! It fits great all around her waist and on her legs with no openings that would allow for leaks.

Now on to the review of the Incredibum with our 20-month old! This diaper is used on LA with the highest rise and it fits great! We have used this for LA during nap time and day time playtime. There really isn’t a place to put extra inserts which is why we didn’t use it for overnight, however, I am sure you could just lay another one on top if you really need to. During nap time I did use both inserts in this diaper and it wasn’t incredibly bulky on him. During the day when he was awake I have used it with both one and two inserts. It works great both times but of course will last longer (3-4 hours) with both inserts. I always changed him after about 2 hours with one insert because he can be a heavy wetter at times. We never experienced a leak using this diaper!

You can see the diaper fits great around his waist. The snaps again are my only complaint (and this could come from being a fan of aplix). I wish there were fewer snaps. I do love the look and the color and the absorbency of this diaper!

You can see it fits his legs great and it’s actually pretty trim. This is the diaper with BOTH inserts so it’s really not bulky for having two inserts!

My Final Thoughts: We really enjoyed this diaper! I do prefer using it on LA instead of on Baby Addy because I do feel it fits the older (bigger) child better. I love that we didn’t once have a leak with this diaper and with LA we’ve used it for about 2 months! with Addy we’ve only used it a few weeks but still no leaks! :) I love the inserts and the fact that they are mostly bamboo, they are very soft! I really like the concept of the snap in inserts because sometimes pockets are difficult to use (stuff) and I just like the fact that this is different. I absolutely LOVE the color – it’s almost like a neon yellow. It’s very bright and is a beautiful shade of yellow. The only thing I would change would be to make it with fewer snaps! :)

Purchase It: You can visit the wonderful Sandbox Lane to purchase your own Incredibum diapers and other accessories! The diapers sell for a very reasonable $16.85! That is a great value for a one-size diaper with TWO inserts! :)
