When LA was born it was mid-July and very hot so we didn’t really use swaddle blankets much because he would get really fussy in them (assumed he was hot). We have completely changed that with Baby Addy. Of course she was born in February and she seems to love being wrapped up. By far, one of my favorite baby items I’ve had the pleasure of using for her are the Muslin Swaddle Blankets from Aura Weavers! These blankets are the best!

The above picture is of Baby Addy when we were still in the hospital. When I received these blankets I immediately loved them so I washed them and packed them in my hospital bag for when Baby Addy was born. The hospital did tell me that it is no longer recommended that baby be swaddled with arms in because of SIDS so we always wrap Addy with her arms out. You can see her all wrapped up in her Princess Dreams blanket! We received so many compliments on these blankets while at the hospital. I think every nurse and every visitor that saw Addy wrapped in these blankets said something about how nice they are. I couldn’t agree with them more, they are my absolute favorite blankets of hers! I wish we had enough to use them exclusively! The blankets are incredibly soft and stretchy making it easy to get a good wrap or swaddle on baby. The blankets are incredibly easy to care for as well. We simply wash them with Addy’s clothes and dry on low heat and they still look perfect! We couldn’t be more thrilled with these blankets!
Nearly four weeks after Addy’s birth we are still using these blankets regularly. So far we’ve just used them to wrap Addy in, but I know there will come a day when I’ll need to use it as a nursing cover, a sun shade or a burp cloth. They are incredibly versatile and when we get more of these blankets I am sure I will use them in a variety of ways!
