Safer Brand Organic Garden/Lawn Care Products Review and GIVEAWAY!

I have been wanting to start a garden for a very long time. There is just something comforting in knowing that the foods you are eating are coming straight from your backyard and you know for sure there aren’t any pesticides on them. One big concern that I have about gardening is bugs and how to keep them off of the crops. This has actually been a fear of mine because the more I think about it, the more it grosses me out. I came across Safer Brand garden care products and believe I have my solution! I no longer have a fear of gardening because of the bugs!

Because we do not have a garden started just yet I had my husband test the products we were sent on his beloved plants in our yard. As I have said before, the lawn along with the plants and flowers outside are my husband’s pride and joy. He LOVES working in the yard and I appreciate his work because I love looking at the beauty. I wasn’t aware that some of our plants had small wholes in the leaves and it was because of bugs! After my husband told me about this and showed me the pictures he took, I thought these new Safer Brand products were perfect to try on these plants! All three of the products that we were sent for review have been approved by OMRI (organic materials review institute) and the USDA National Organic Program to be certified for use in organic gardening. They are all products that you can spray on your crops right up until the day of harvest and not have to worry about harmful residuals being lefts on your crops. You can “shop and spray without worry”. Let me tell you some more about the products we received.

Safer Brand Insect Killing Soap

Safer Brand’s Insect Killing Soap is for use in eliminating soft-bodied insects such as whiteflies, aphids, thrips, leafhoppers, and many other insects! This is a brand new product from Safer Brand so I am excited about sharing it with you! This Insect Killing Soap works with nature in order to eliminate pests and the break down into its natural state. This product is great for use with roses, flowers, fruits, vegetables, houseplants, trees, shrubs and ornamentals. This formula comes in a 24 oz and 32 oz ready-to-use spray bottle. The 32 oz retails for approximately $8.00. This is also available in a concentrate.

Safer Brand Bug Patrol

Another new product from Safer Brand is their Bug Patrol. Safer Brand’s Bug Patrol will be effective in eliminating both soft-bodied and hard-bodied insects on contact! The great thing about this product is that you don’t have to know WHAT insect is affecting your plants in order to treat them! Bug Patrol will eliminate soft-bodied insects such as aphids, thrips, leafhoppers, and whiteflies, however, it will also eliminate hard-bodied insects like ants, earwigs, and beetles! How great is that? I know when I see insects I don’t always know what they are so this is great! It actually kills over 40 damaging insects! Again, this is a product that works with nature to eliminate your pests and then break down into its natural state in the soil. This is great for use on flower garden, shrubbery and lawn. My husband was spraying this in one of our shrubs and he said you wouldn’t believe the amount of bugs flying out of the shrub as he was spraying! There were more bugs in that shrub than we could have imagined! Bug Patrol comes in a 32 oz ready to use spray concentrate that easily hooks to your water hose. This products retails for approximately $28.00.

Safer Brand EndALL

Safer’s representative also sent us one of their existing products to review. Safer Brand’s EndALL is the answer to your stink bug problems! If you live in the Northeastern or Midwestern United States you know exactly what I am talking about. Stink bugs are extremely hard to get rid of. Safer Brand’s EndALL is your organic solution to getting rid of stink bugs. Not only will EndALL eliminate stink bungs, but it will also eliminate up to 45 different insects. This porduct is great for using on fruits, vegetables, herbs, nuts, ornamentals, flowers, shrubs and houseplants. EndALL comes in two convenient ready-to-use sizes, 24 oz and 32 oz. The 32 oz bottle is approximately $8.00.

Although I have not started gardening yet, I cannot wait to now that I have these products! It will give me peace of mind in knowing that these products are safe for organic gardening! It gives me peace of mind in knowing that I don’t have to wait after spraying this to bring the crops inside! It gives me peace of mind knowing that I can serve what I grow to my children and not have any worries!

My husband did start using these products about a week ago. I will post an update in a few weeks to let you know how they are working for us! I am pretty sure it will be a great update because of the amount of bugs that left the shrubs when he sprayed.
