Thirsties Duo diaper review and GIVEAWAY!

If you have never heard of Thirsties Diapers, you are missing a great company and I encourage you to check them out and try their diapers! Thirsties Diapers are 100% made in the United States, many of them by work at home moms! We can all appreciate that as mothers and I applaud this company for supporting WAHMs!

When I contacted Thirsties to do a review for them, I was surprised at how quickly I received a response and at how friendly their rep was! I received GREAT service and I know that’s not an every day thing with many companies these days so I wanted to recognize that as well. I truly appreciate it when I get great service! If I am contacting them as a blogger and get this type of service, I can imagine how great their customer service is for customer!

Thirsties has a wide array of products, including five different types of cloth diapers. They also have cloth diaper detergent, wipes solution, cloth wipes, doublers, hemp inserts, a diaper duffle for cloth diapering on the go, and pail liners! As you can see, Thirsties has a full line of cloth diapering products, all made right here in the USA and by work at home mamas!

We chose to review the Thirsties Dup diaper. We picked the cool stripes print (although it was a very tough choice because I love their Blackbird print too! This diaper is has three rows of snaps to adjust in size to fit your newborn all the way through potty training. It also have wonderful leg gussets (one of my favorite features of cloth diapers these days). The Duo diaper comes in 8 solid colors and 4 print choices. It also comes with two inserts, one being 100% microfiber and the other being 55% hemp and 45% cotton.

I love the fit of this diaper and I love that the inserts snap together! It also has not only an opening in the back for the inserts, but an opening in the front! I found that to be a great feature and allowed for the inserts to easily come out in the wash or it makes it super easy to remove them prior to wash. I did find it a bit challenging to get the inserts in without folding or creasing because of the gussets. Not a huge deal though!The diaper was great, no leaks and no problems whatsoever. We have not yet tried it for overnight, however, I think with maybe a hemp insert it wold probably work great for overnight. The Aplix laundry tabs are holding up great and haven’t let lose in laundry to get attached to any other diapers. At first the diaper did look a but droopy on LA but I soon figured out that I needed to adjust the size and once we adjusted the snaps, it was a great fit!
