Where to begin? My little sugar bear, you are so busy! Crawling was just the beginning! I don’t think what you do would be considered crawling, it’s sprinting on all fours! You fly!! You have also decided that you love to stand up and you pull yourself up on everything! I was so happy when you figured out how to get back down though because we went through a period of you standing up and then you would stay up because you didn’t know how to get down. That created some sleepless nights for mama. Last week you also started taking steps so now when you stand up holding onto the couch, you can walk along the couch too! It’s all going so fast and before we know it, you’ll be walking (or should I say sprinting on two?).
You also have become very interested in mama and daddy’s food, not your own. So I decided to start giving you Puffs and whatever part of you is supposed to tell your belly it’s full doesn’t seem to be communicating with your belly because you won’t stop eating them – like ever, unless we take them away. You love them, to say the least! Last night on your nine month birthday (yes, this letter is a day late) I made you your first real meal. I made salmon and carrots. You ate a few bites and then wanted nothing to do with it. I’m not sure if it was just something new or what, but today you ate up the carrots without a problem. Maybe you are just like mama and don’t like salmon or anything that smells like it came out of the water! (actually hoping that is not the case because it’s good for you!)
We went to the mall yesterday and got your picture taken with the Easter Bunny! I know you have better smiles than you showed, but it was all new to you. It’s still an adorable picture! You can also say mama and dada and have started making pretty loud baba sounds. I have said it before, but your laugh has to be one of the most adorable, contagious things I have ever heard. You couldn’t be any cuter and you make me smile so many times each day. I thank God every day for blessing us with you!
I LOVE YOU LA!
HAPPY NINE MONTHS!
